Mega star rapper Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent, has been ordered by a judge to pay the sum  of USD1.6 million to Sleek Headphones after a planned deal to market his own range with the company fell through.
According to RadarOnline.com, Candy Shop crooner has invested over USD1 million to start his line of headphones, before deciding to create another set of accessories with a different company.

Court documents reportedly show the former partners of Fifty were “stunned” when they found the Sync by 50 headphones were “basically the same design, mechanically” as the pair they had developed.
Sleek also claimed the rapper and his assistants stole confidential information from a website they developed to promote the headphones before they were produced. The site featured e-mails of 3,639 potential customers and other data. However, this classified information has disappeared after Fifty and his were given the password.
It has been gathered that Sleek contacted rapper’s crew to discuss the issue of missing data directly, but they got such laughs instead:
“[Sleek] is onto us, LOL. They emailed and called … about the data. (sic),” business manager Nicole Martin wrote.
Another member of 50′s team also sent an e-mail to a colleague, saying: “Tell him something like, sorry, you just have to finish editing a video for 50 or something, we’ll get to it, LOL (sic)”.
Therefore, Sleek sued the rapper for breaching his fiduciary duty, participating in a civil conspiracy, misappropriating trade secrets, breaching his confidentiality agreement and being unjustly enriched.
In his return, 50 Cent claimed Sleek “fraudulently induced” him into entering into an investment and breaching their fiduciary duties to him.
The controversial rapper is a frequent visitor of courts. For instance, he was charged with vandalism and domestic violence after kicking the mother of his child in June 2013
